Reiki Services: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to WeMe Therapy. By booking or participating in Reiki energy healing sessions, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided

WeMe Therapy offers Reiki energy healing for adults and children to support relaxation, emotional wellness, and energy alignment. Reiki is a complementary service and does not replace professional medical or psychological care. We operate in alignment with New York State Public Health Law Article 27-F, where applicable.

2. Informed Consent and Intake

Before your first session, you will complete an intake form. Participation is voluntary. Clients are encouraged to share relevant emotional or physical concerns that may guide the session.

Consent from a parent or legal guardian is required for services provided to minors, in accordance with New York State General Obligations Law § 3-503.

3. Confidentiality and HIPAA Voluntary Compliance

Although Reiki is not a licensed healthcare service, WeMe Therapy voluntarily follows HIPAA confidentiality standards (45 CFR § 164.502) and protects your data in accordance with New York State Civil Rights Law § 50-a. All shared information is private and securely maintained.

4. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Attendance

• Reiki sessions are scheduled in advance.
• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.
• Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to the full session fee.

5. Payments

• Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise arranged.

6. Limitation of Liability

Reiki is not intended to treat, diagnose, or cure any medical condition. Participation in Reiki is voluntary, and WeMe Therapy is not liable for any interpretations, decisions, or outcomes resulting from the sessions.

All materials shared during or after sessions are the intellectual property of WeMe Therapy and may not be reused, shared, or published without written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Although Reiki is not a medical service, WeMe Therapy voluntarily adheres to HIPAA standards (45 CFR § 164.502) and the New York State Technology Law § 208 to ensure privacy and data security. Client records are stored securely and only accessible by authorized staff.

4. Data Sharing

Your information will never be sold, rented, or used for marketing purposes. We only share information with your written consent or when required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:
